Sithambara Ragasiyam( The secret of Sithambaram)

There is many a time when we come across people arguing on whose God is better, let's not speak about different religions. Let's talk about us in Hinduism itself. Well, randomly, I may even argue if the deity I am praying to gets attacked or ridiculed.

Just like you were born into a family and receive parents by birth your attraction towards a certain deity is inexplicable. Being the almighty, why has God not changed you to go the right way or even corrected you to say that I am not what you perceive me to be, I am so and so. Please change your mode of prayers, etc, so on and so forth...?

The true reason is and has to be, is that the Lord cares not the way prayer is put forth to him nor does he care on who one perceives him to be, being the Father of the world, he reciprocates to any form of devotion chosen by the devotee so that the devotee keeps in touch with him easily. In the example, one may call his friend's parents as mother and father however will be most affectionate to his parents that he has been with throughout his life.

The Lord has allowed the mode of devotion to be chosen by the devotee for which all of this devotee's actions that encompass such devotion is viewed by the Lord without prejudice and inputs directly from the Lord himself. The level of fairness in judgement should be and is impartial to the Dharma of inputs and outputs received. Some call it Karma, meaning reaping what is sowed.

Likewise, coming to the part that ancients have mentioned that the Sithambara Ragasiya is many things that have been perceived by different individuals and sometimes silently agreed upon even though something else may have been seen on the part of that individual.

I am just saying if you are one who has been there and seen something else other than what has been mentioned by ' the ancients' please do not be disheartened, it could be a customized message from the Lord to you.

Lastly, a secret remains a secret if it is everchanging and a secret will always be a secret if it only remains in the eye of the beholder. Also maybe the reason why Sithars are sometimes called Pithan.....

Think about it...
